Cruise sourcing, done for the trade

We match the vessel to your client profile rather than pushing a single fixed ship, review quality on the boats we recommend, and manage cabins, shore excursions and timings on the ground — as a full Egypt DMC. See a representative Luxury Nile Cruise programme for how a river journey is built.

Allotment or full charter?

For FITs and smaller groups we hold cabin allocations on scheduled sailings; for exclusive use we arrange full charters. The decision turns on group size, control and budget — we set out the trade-offs in full charter or allocation, and for small luxury or incentive groups, dahabiya charters.

The route, in numbers

Standard itineraries run 3 nights (Aswan → Luxor) or 4 nights (Luxor → Aswan) across roughly 230 km, calling at Edfu and Kom Ombo. A typical cruise ship carries 80–150 passengers; a dahabiya, 6–10 cabins and 8–20 guests. The comfortable season for Upper Egypt runs October to April. The cruise pairs naturally with Luxor and Aswan & Abu Simbel.

The commercial terms

Frequently asked questions

How does a Nile cruise DMC work for tour operators?

We source and operate the river portion of your programme in Egypt: matching the vessel to your client profile, securing cabins or full charters at net rates, managing shore excursions with licensed guides, and coordinating transfers and timings — while your clients experience your brand throughout.

Do you offer cabin allotments or full charters?

Both. We hold and manage cabin allocations on scheduled sailings for FITs and smaller groups, and arrange full-boat charters where a group wants exclusive use. We advise which fits your group size and budget.

How long is a standard Nile cruise?

Standard itineraries run 3 nights from Aswan to Luxor or 4 nights from Luxor to Aswan, over roughly 230 km, calling at Edfu and Kom Ombo. A typical cruise ship carries 80 to 150 passengers.

Can you arrange dahabiyas for small groups?

Yes. A dahabiya typically has 6 to 10 cabins and 8 to 20 guests, which makes a private full-boat charter realistic for a small incentive or luxury group — a slower, exclusive-use alternative to a cruise ship.

Do you quote net rates for cruises?

Yes. Cruise and dahabiya programmes are quoted at confidential net rates so you set your markup, and we do not publish rates that would compete with our partners.

What does the cruise portion include?

Selected vessel and cabin category to brief, licensed Egyptologist guiding at each site, transfers and entrance fees, meet-and-assist, and a 24/7 operations desk during travel. Abu Simbel and Cairo extensions are quoted within the same programme.

Thank you.
